Questions we are asked

how do you work

disobedience + discipline.

Which equals thinking + doing.

We take on business problems with creative ideas. We have plenty of them.

But an idea isn't finished until it's made for real. That takes discipline.

Does that answer your question?

who are the disciples

The Disciples was founded in 2026 by Gijs van den Berg, after 17 years at KesselsKramer.

We're a collective of creatives from everywhere who share one vision: serving ideas.

Every project gets its own dream team. Writers, strategists, designers, coders, producers, photographers, illustrators, directors.

What are you looking for?

what have you made

Plenty. Just not as The Disciples yet.

The first projects are underway and almost ready to show.

can I meet you

Yes, let's plan a date.

Pick a moment

We also talk about creativity sometimes.

November 20 at Tolhuistuin, Amsterdam.

November 27 at Imagination Day in Warsaw, Poland.

Answers to other questions

Hi. You found us.

Most people scroll past. What made you stop?

No. But every answer here was written before you arrived.

Discipline, remember.

Depends on the idea.

Small problems, small fees. Big problems, we talk.

Disciples aren't hired. They're recruited.

Send your work and one disobedient idea.

Amsterdam, mostly.

And wherever the idea needs us.

Plenty.

We keep names quiet until the work speaks for itself.

We believe in nothing but ideas.

No robes. One rule: finish what you start.

A disciple follows. We follow the idea.

Even when it disobeys us.

Gijs van den Berg. Seventeen years at KesselsKramer, then this.

He started the Disciples in 2026.

He is never alone.

Seventeen years. Good ones.

Now something new.

Not yet.

Ask again soon. Or join the mailing list and we'll show you first.

Fast enough. Never sloppy.

That's the discipline part.

Campaigns, brands, strategy, design.

And whatever the idea asks for next.

Because we don't stop at the idea.

Most of the work happens after the presentation.

It starts with a problem, not a brief.

Tell us the problem. We’ll tell you if we’re the right ones.

Depends on what it is.

Ask.

We don’t pitch for free.

Our ideas are our work, not an audition.

Possible.

Let’s talk to see if we match.

Small budget, big problem? Talk to us.

Small problem, big budget? Let’s use the budget wisely.

We work wherever the idea lands.

Amsterdam is just where the coffee is.

Yours, once the invoice is paid.

All of it is written down.

Short version: we finish what we start.

Long version, in full.

Gladly. Send yours, or use ours.

Either way, nothing leaves the room.

Questioning the brief. Breaking the habit.

Politely, mostly.

Making it real. Every detail, every time.

The D is taped by hand.

It changes. Other people make their own. Yours could be next.

Taped together by hand, like the D.

No template. That’s the point.

As many disciples as needed.

Never more.

The team changes with every idea.

Good. That's where we start.

Tell us what's keeping you up at night.

Gladly.

We post when there’s something worth posting.

Instagram

Send your work. We’ll be honest.

That’s worth more than encouragement.

Sometimes, yes.

Tell us the room and the subject.

Ja hoor.

We speak Dutch, English, and a bit of everything else.

We take ideas seriously. Everything else, not so much.

We're flattered.

But we're married to the idea.

Amsterdam. Grey, with a chance of ideas.

Making things that didn't exist yesterday.

Still awake?

Good. That’s usually where the idea is.

Busy. The good kind.

You?

Anytime. Well, any time you have an idea.

Leaving already?

The box will be here.

Economical. We like that.

Try a whole question.

Strong opening. We respect that.

Now, what's really bothering you?

Testing us? Fair.

We'd test us too.
